This Privacy Policy explains how Blueforge Technologies LLC ("Blueforge," "we," "us," or the "Platform") collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you connect a financial account to our software through our integration with Plaid Inc. ("Plaid").

1. Who We Are

Blueforge Technologies LLC develops and operates transportation management and financial/bookkeeping software used by business customers, including logistics companies such as Talbi Logistics. For privacy questions, contact us at admin@blueforgetechnologies.org.

2. Information We Collect Through Plaid

When you choose to link a bank account, we use Plaid to securely connect to your financial institution. Through Plaid, we may receive:

• Account information (account name, type, masked account and routing numbers);
• Account balances;
• Transaction history (amounts, dates, descriptions, counterparties).

You provide your bank login credentials directly to Plaid through Plaid's secure interface. We never see or store your online banking username or password. Plaid's handling of your data is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use financial account information solely to:

• Display live account balances within the software;
• Match and reconcile incoming payments and expenses against loads, invoices, and accounting records;
• Provide bookkeeping, reporting, and operational features you request.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your information.

4. Consent

We collect, process, and store your financial data only after you grant consent by connecting an account. You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting the account or contacting us, after which we stop retrieving new data from that account.

5. How We Protect Your Information

• Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
• Data is encrypted at rest in our access-controlled database (AES-256).
• Access tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to your browser.
• Access is limited to authorized personnel using role-based access controls.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only with: (a) Plaid, to enable the connection you request; and (b) service providers that host and operate the Platform under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain financial data only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your data by emailing admin@blueforgetechnologies.org; we will honor verified requests in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact admin@blueforgetechnologies.org.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
